Catherine Lux Fry

SENIOR ASSOCIATE

Certified Association Executive (CAE), American Society of Association Executives

“I love associations. I love what associations can do in society. Their job is to better society in some way. Every time we find them the people who are going to help them be successful, we’re helping advance their mission, their success.”

Mission Driven

There’s not much Catherine hasn’t seen or done in her 20-year career in association and nonprofit management. That makes her a special favorite among clients, coworkers and almost everyone who comes into contact with her. Catherine has seen and done it all – and more important, learned from it all in ways that benefit every client.

Ask Catherine about communications, program and project management, revenue enhancement, members services or any other critical element of running a purpose-driven organization, and she will have an answer – predictably insightful, often innovative, always practical. From the biggest strategic issue to the most immediate tactical challenge, Catherine relishes the opportunity to deliver real results, beginning with exceptional candidates.

Catherine’s previous work with the Construction Specifications Institute and the American Institute of Architecture Students provided ample opportunity to learn and grow professionally. Her work with the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), especially ASAE’s career-services program, has been particularly valuable to her.

Catherine graduated from DePauw University in Greencastle, IN with majors in English Literature and Communications Arts and Sciences. Catherine earned her Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential in 2012. This designation identifies association professionals who demonstrate the knowledge essential to the practice of association management.
