Richard Yep, CAE, FASAE Joins Vetted Solutions

Washington, DC – Former American Counseling Association (ACA) Chief Executive Officer Richard Yep CAE, FASAE has joined Vetted Solutions as a client partner.

Yep is widely known and respected for his lengthy tenure as head of ACA and his prominent role as mentor to numerous organizational CEOs and other senior managers. A Fellow of the American Society of Association Executives (FASAE) and Certified Association Executive, he brings more than three decades of hands-on experience in all aspects of leadership development, notably in his pioneering work in promoting diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility as a key element of organizational strategy.

As CEO of the ACA, Yep was instrumental in guiding the counseling organization to its current position of prominence in the association sector. His exceptional skills in operational management and strategic insights helped drive substantial organizational growth in revenues and membership, while expanding public visibility and appreciation for the professional counseling community among consumers, public officials and the media.

He is the 2017 recipient of the Key Award from the American Society of Association Executives which is the organization's highest honor presented to association chief staff executives who demonstrate exceptional qualities of leadership. He also served two terms on the United Nations Non-Governmental Organizations Executive Committee. A native Californian, Yep has a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Society from the University of California Santa Barbara and a Master's degree in Public Administration (Intergovernmental Management) from the University of Southern California.
