Michele’s extensive experience in various educational and certification organizations has made her especially adept at serving the needs of professional associations and nonprofit organizations devoted to the demanding professional standards that drive both professional excellence and the societal improvements that come with it.

Her resume includes an impressive roster of senior positions as an executive or administrator in public and private education, law and corporate human resources management. She is an active member of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE), serves on the ICE/National Commission for Certifying Agencies and the Ohio Society of Association Executives. She also recently served as Managing Director of Examinations, Education and Talent at the CFP Board of Standards, overseeing the rigorous core professional certification requirements.

While serving as Executive Director of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) and the Educational Foundation, she released a noteworthy report that remains an important milestone in the effort to address gender pay inequity.

In addition to her Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential, Michele holds a JD from the University of Akron School of Law, and a BA in Business Management from Hiram College.
